Kerbopolis, is an imaginary city presented as affordable fine art photography by the artist Glenn Mottershead

Thames Trade
Thames Trade
Glenn created Thames Trade by walking through old London, using his pencil and paper sketches as a form of template for his photographic composition.
He would walk miles for months with his camera and flask of coffee until his digital palette was ladened with all the appropriate tones of the narrative yet to be built and told.
Using over 130 of his bespoke photographs, and many more hours in his studio he mindfully merged a complete Kerbopolis ascetic called Thames Trade.
Glenn comments on the evocative piece - “Its reminiscent of an old treasure map, especially for the lovers of river and sea adventures.”
Gabled Galleon
“At first glance this image evoked for me the impression of decay, lives lived and passed, the use of space and how spaces can become 'not good enough' anymore in the eyes of people or a community … When I look at the image I see maritime resonances from the mesh that looks like rigging from an ancient sea vessel, that;s why I love the juxtaposition of the intended and the unintended imagery.”
Nancy - Lewisham
“Each art piece is a form of borough within the city of Kerbopolis.”
— Glenn, Kerbopolis Artist
Industrial District
Whether balancing on the beams to get to your journey’s end or falling through the depths and dimensions, the Industrial District is a great place to explore with your imagination.
Red Cube
Walk your imagination to the Red Cube and ponder on what could be inside.
“It is where you are the guardian and planner of the place you invested in.”
— Glenn, Kerbopolis Artist
Gas Works
Beyond the desolate plain of soiled earth and boundaries there sits idle the old Gas Works. Staring, wondering with its 360 degree vision on a changing city.
“Each piece transforms from art on a wall to holding in your hands and transforming into a dimensional map, tilting and swishing to find the familiar and the unexpected.”
— Glenn, Kerbopolis Artist
Tangled Thames
Ever imagined being under the Thames river? The mirky green and brown substance of Tangled Thames will certainly swish your imagination.
Steady Amber
A beacon on the last leg of your journey is in front of you, in a few more leaps of the mind you will soon be delving under the Steady Amber illumination for a flicker free reassurance.
”The entire range including; Gabeled Galleon, Peeping Over and Tangled Thames, aim to evoke a form of exploration through the many layers that make up each art piece. They offer various routes for your imagination to journey through.”
— Glenn, Kerbopolis Artist
Peep Over
Mind your footing when peeping over to see what is beyond the layers. You may find that the path to the bridge is fraught under foot.
